Dogs become part of our lives. They are family. They have feelings just likе humans. Dogs are the most loyal animals when it comes to their owners.

But even the sᴛʀᴀʏ dogs prove this loyalty without even being together in homes. Visiting someone for the last time must be heartbreaking and this is shown in the story when Buboy visits his friend.

A sᴛʀᴀʏ dog, named Buboy, captured the heart of netizens as he continued to wait for the professor he came to perceive as his companion in Mabalacat City College, Pampanga. Professor was the one who took care of the dog called Buboy for 4 years. He gave him love, fed him every day and built a friendship together. It became a routine for Buboy to come over to his classroom for food in the morning and return at lunch time for snacks. Buboy then would stay around the campus and patrol the buildings at night. Sadly, one day the professor become ill, but what his colleagues noticed something strange. For the past two weeks, the loyal pooch has been coming by the classroom every morning, waiting to greet the teacher. Such a loyal dog!

Students filmed as the sᴛʀᴀʏ dog scratched at the proffessor’s door. Eventually they felt so sorry for the dog that they decided to take him to the local church where Carmelito’s open ᴄᴏғғɪɴ was being kept. The dog whimpered as he was shown his old friend’s ʙᴏᴅʏ. Buboy then got to the ground and laid in front of the ᴄᴀsᴋᴇᴛ. Buboy lied on the ground, this way never leaving Marcelo’s side. ​Student Mark Christian Arceo, who took the pictures and videos of the moment, posted it on social media and captioned it with the quote: “A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself – Josh Billings”.

Mark added: “It’s hard to watch the dog waiting for his friend. He doesn’t know that his special companion has gone. Everyʙᴏᴅʏ has taken to help with the feeding of Buboy. The staff, students and teachers are all providing food for him.”
