Mark Wahlberg talks about the importance of not “denying” his faith.

Mark Wahlberg, a well-known actor, and fervent Catholic, is recognized for his outspoken Catholicism. He proudly wears an ash cross on his forehead to mark the beginning of Lent, indicating his dedication to this holy season

On the other hand, Wahlberg prefers to keep his personal relationship with God private. In a recent interview with co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, the 51-year-old actor discussed faith and finding a balance.

“It’s a delicate balance for me,” Wahlberg said. I never want to impose my faith on anyone and try to avoid doing so. That would be a more heinous crime

Although it is not usually the most prevalent attitude in my profession, I cannot hide my opinions. I must share this aspect of my life with others.

It is, however, crucial to accept and value their various histories and faiths. After all, I have friends from different walks of life and religious backgrounds.”

Regarding his four children with his wife, Rhea Durham, Wahlberg believes in sharing but not imposing his faith on them. “I don’t impose it on them,” he emphasized, “but they know that I begin each day with prayer, Scripture reading, and Mass.
